Specialized civil engineering
Structural and foundation design is based on NSR-10. Pavements are designed with the INVÍAS manuals and the 1993 AASHTO Guide. BIM coordination follows the DÍADA BIM protocol on IFC4 models, and project management follows PMI guidelines. Analysis is carried out in CYPE and RFEM 5, with independent verification in Python.

The firm
DIADICA Infrastructure is the design and construction management division of DIADICA Proyectos e Ingeniería S.A.S. The office is in Barbosa, a municipality of the Aburrá Valley metropolitan area, where most of the firm's projects are located. The firm takes on projects throughout Colombia and abroad; abroad, the design is developed under the regulations in force in the project's country.

Infrastructure in one minute

Independent verification
Each calculation is checked with an independent method before it is signed. The simulators show the procedure on open cases: a slope by limit equilibrium and by finite elements, and a steel connection by AISC 358 and by finite elements.
